Steps of Laminate Veneer Application

Patients undergo a series of steps to receive porcelain veneers. First, a smile design is created to determine the most suitable style for the patient’s teeth and mouth structure. The patient’s oral and dental health is checked, and any existing oral diseases are diagnosed. The porcelain veneer treatment will not begin until all dental and gum issues are treated. If necessary, procedures such as curettage, fillings, and dental cleaning are performed, after which impressions of the patient’s teeth are taken. The surface of the teeth is lightly ground to even out the surface, and the molds are sent to the lab, where the porcelain veneers are prepared. Once ready, the veneers are bonded to the teeth using special adhesives.
